Trident offers dynamic three-day acting and filmmaking workshops in London, typically held in the scenic riverside borough of Kingston upon Thames. Designed for both aspiring and professional actors, filmmakers, and content creators, these short-form training courses offer an immersive, hands-on alternative to a full retreat or long-term study programme.
Running Friday through Sunday, our workshops focus on practical scene work, showreel production, and on-set filmmaking exercises, all led by working industry professionals. Whether you’re pursuing screen acting, directing, or behind-the-camera roles, it’s a focused opportunity to build your portfolio, gain real production experience, and connect with like-minded creatives.
Actors perform in original, professionally directed scenes while learning essential technical skills — including lighting, lens choice, camera blocking, and eye line — to elevate screen performance and boost professional awareness. Filmmakers and crew members gain hands-on set experience, contributing to cinematic footage while refining their creative and technical abilities in a supportive environment.
All participants leave with high-quality footage that is useful for their showreel or portfolio, a certificate of completion from Trident Productions, and practical, career-ready skills they can apply immediately.
This short acting and filmmaking course is also a fantastic networking opportunity — a chance to meet collaborators, connect with Trident’s core creative team, and gain fresh momentum in your film or television journey. Lunch and snacks are provided daily, with optional overnight accommodation and dinner for out-of-town guests (two nights, £125 extra).
