Trident’s Acting and Filmmaking Retreats offer an immersive creative escape in locations including London, Budapest, and Spain. These unique working holidays combine hands-on training with relaxation and cultural experiences, giving actors, filmmakers, and content creators of all levels the chance to elevate their craft in a supportive, inspiring environment.
Our retreats run for 6 days (5 nights) and are designed for both emerging and experienced professionals. You’ll collaborate on an original short film, work on a functioning film set, and take part in practical workshops led by working directors, producers, and acting coaches. Whether you’re in front of the camera or behind it, you’ll gain real-world production and acting experience, build new material for your showreel or portfolio, and earn IMDb credits for your work.
We provide lunch and snacks and can provide breakfasts and dinners too. We can provide accomodation or you may want to make your own plans and bookings.
Each day has plenty of creative sessions, as well as downtime to relax, explore, or connect with your fellow creatives. With comfortable sets and great locations, as well as a welcoming group atmosphere, our retreats strike the perfect balance between skill-building, collaboration, and leisure.

Following each week-long retreat, we produce professional poster artwork and create IMDb pages for the short films made during the sessions, ensuring every participant receives the recognition they deserve. This gives all actors, filmmakers, and crew the valuable opportunity to earn official credits, enhance their IMDb profiles, and strengthen their portfolios and showreels with industry-standard material.

How do I reserve my spot?
We secure accommodation like a house or villa or apartments when we know how many people are coming. Meal plans are tailored once the guest list is finalised. It's easy to reserve a spot on the next retreat but we reccomend doing it quickly before slots sell out!
